Stephen Hough is a true renaissance man – a concert pianist, writer, composer and painter winning global acclaim for his interpretations of the piano repertoire.

 

Appearing on worldwide stages including Carnegie Hall, Chicago's Symphony Hall, London's Royal Festival Hall and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, he exhibits mastery of the piano as well as an individual and inquisitive mind that has earned him prestigious awards and an international following.

 

Hough was named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire and is the first classical pianist to be awarded a MacArthur Fellowship.
