Formed in Boston in 2024, the OAK Trio unites three award-winning young soloists: pianist Evren Ozel, Bronze Medalist and Mozart Concerto Prize winner at the 2025 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition; violinist Joshua Brown, a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient who won Second Prize and Audience Awards at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Competition; and cellist Leland Ko, co-winner of the 2024 Naumburg International Competition. Together they bring exceptional virtuosity and youthful energy to the piano trio repertoire. This program features works by Haydn, Paul Schoenfield, and Dvořák’s famous “Dumky” Trio.
