Pianist Jon Nakamatsu, Gold Medalist of the 1997 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, is one of today’s most engaging American artists. Known for his warm, elegant sound and effortless virtuosity, Nakamatsu has captivated audiences worldwide with performances that balance technical brilliance and deep musical insight. Nakamatsu brings a richly varied program featuring works by Busoni, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Chopin, and Beethoven, including his famous “Pastoral” Sonata.
